Hyperspace was founded in 2020 in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. We work on innovative extensions, renovations, one off houses, interiors fit outs and garden studios.
Our award winning studio is looking for like minded collaborators for our next inspiring projects. Being a young studio, we take pride to be part of a new generation of architects that speak up with fresh ideas. It's time for a new era of architecture, working cohesively for the greater good.
We believe that architecture can do much more. To deal with today’s challenges, architecture must change. Our design process is based on the circular economy, meaning we carefully analyse the existing building and establish what can be reimagined, reinvigorated, reused and recycled. Reducing landfill and carbon by creating sustainable buildings to construct and operate is our objective.
We believe in a form of architecture which is joyous yet pragmatic, exciting yet sustainable. Steering clear of boring conservative boxes, our work merges exciting modernist utopian ideas with highly sustainable pragmatic building processes.
The Studio practices what it preaches, residing in a retrofit 70's garage. Lined out in plywood with bespoke desks and joinery our studio is cosy but efficient. We are a RIBA Royal Institute of British Architects chartered architects and registered with the ARB architects registration board. We are also Members of HAA Hertfordshire association of architects.
